Dear Sandra,
Since your treated me with the McKenzie Approach, my chronic lower back pain has decreased unbelievably. After suffering with referred pain into the buttock and lateral leg since June 2007 (11 months), this McKenzie treatment has been the most effective in localizing the pain back pain into the lumbar area.
The treatment was patient focused and encouraged movement which does not cause further pain or impingement and therefore rehabilitation is focused on this aspect. The motivation to do the prescribed movements is high as I was able to see immediate results and feel a dramatic difference.
I would definitely recommend this approach above all other treatment approaches, especially for lower back pain.
